In the bustling city of London, Jarvis Dolan shines as the charming host of a radio program called The Dark Truth, focusing on current events and reality. Known for his bold and lively commentary, Jarvis has become a radio sensation, captivating listeners with his insightful discussions on trending topics. Facing a decline in ratings, Jarvis is urged by his boss Norman Burgess to consider a new direction for the show. Reluctantly, Jarvis agrees to bring on his former colleague, Andrew Wilde, as a co-host in hopes of reviving the program. As they prepare to go live, Wilde meets Jarvis's dedicated assistants, Anthony and Claire, who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
